To provide the best results from chemical peel facial treatments, Elle Skin & Beauty Co. provides you with numerous options. Your professional facial treatment with chemical solutions (such as salicylic, glycolic, trichloroacetic, and lactic acids) will reveal healthier, smoother skin. Our Northern Kentucky office offers chemical peel treatments that help remove skin abnormalities, like scars, wrinkles, fine lines, dry patches, hyperpigmentation issues, and more. Chemical peels remove dead, damaged skin cells with a unique solution on your skin, which causes the top layer to slough off. When your skin heals and starts to repair itself, you will notice a rejuvenated, smoother, and clearer complexion. A chemical peel facial is a noninvasive method to make your skin radiant and may be appropriate for the face, neck, and décollatage.

Based on the strength of the chemical peel you have, you can expect the face to peel and itch for several days to two or more weeks. Our med spa team will discuss how to treat your face during your consultation. Remember that no matter how much your skin itches during the recovery, it is not good to pull the skin off. You could create scarring, leading to unwanted results. Please schedule an appointment with us in Northern Kentucky to learn more about the different types of chemical peels we offer. We look forward to finding the correct peel to help your skin flourish.

This was my first visit to Elle Skin & Beauty Co. today, I was welcomed and made comfortable as soon as I walked in. My chemical peel treatment was carried out by Emily who fully explained the procedure and made sure I was ok throughout. Emily is friendly, easy to talk to and very professional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

About Us
How much does a chemical peel cost?

Our team will talk about your costs during your consultation once we have made your chemical peel treatment plan. The cost of a chemical peel can vary depending on the formula you get. Elle Skin & Beauty Co. accepts many payment methods, and we often run specials on skin treatments like chemical peels. Buying a package with several chemical peel treatments can also help you save money.

What level should I choose for my chemical peel?

Which level of chemical peel is best for you will depend on your specific skin issues and aesthetic goals. In your initial consultation with Emily, she can help you decide which type of peel is right for your skin. Some factors you might consider are your overall health, your skin type, how deep you want the peel to work, the time you can commit to recovery, and what you want the peel to accomplish. For your first peel, it's better to select a lighter peel and decide what you think of the results. From there, you and Emily may tweak your treatment plan to find the best chemical peel level for your needs.

Will my face hurt after a chemical peel?

Depending on the chemicals used, you may have mild discomfort when it is on your skin. If you have a lighter peel, you will feel a little stinging, but it can be alleviated with the use of a small fan. Deep or medium peels are better for deeper problems and give you longer-lasting results; however, they usually cause greater discomfort. Numbing cream, medications, and ointments can be applied to help you feel more comfortable during your chemical peel. Emily or a member of her team will go over post-treatment skin care to help your skin heal.
